RATS.
GET EVERYWHERE.

Rats is a conceptual system built around anxieties. Each one is represented as a character tied to a specific psychological state. Not only do these anxieties get resolved through talking about them, but they change through physical activity.

The project lives in the space of movement, training, sport, and exertion. Each Rat manifests as a physical artefact designed to exist in and around activity, such as things that are worn close to the body, used during effort, or placed into the environment where training happens. Over time, those manifestations move further away from the body, mirroring how certain anxieties loosen their grip through repetition, strain, and presence.

Rats isn’t about performance or motivation culture. It’s slower and quieter than that. It treats sport as a grounding mechanism, a place where identity is felt rather than asserted.
